Download Stutter FIX Red Dead Redemption 2 Tool Mod

This mod tries to fix those pesky framedrops that wont go away no matter what settings/hardware you have. The mod archieves this by editing a single setting in the gameconfig.xml found within the game files: <aiTextureMaxMem_3_Base value=”xxxxx”/>

I have uploaded multiple versions for multiple PC configurations, which one you need depends on the amount of Vram you have and differs between users.

it’s preferable to start with the smallest <aiTextureMaxMem_3_Base value=”xxxxx”/> increase, larger values cause high vram usage and might cause some pop-in. If the size isnt big enough it might not stop the stutters and frame drops from happening you will have to test and see which one works best for you.

the downloads are named according to the new value set in <aiTextureMaxMem_3_Base value=”xxxxx”/>

you can set any value you want manually if you want to finetune it but these are good starter options and won’t need any more tweaks.

large upscale texture mods will still cause small hitches in saint Dennis so try avoiding those, most are totally fine.

Installation Instructions:
You will need a zip extractor like Winrar or 7zip to extract the .zip download.

Download Scripthook for RDR2 extract the .zip and put ScripthookRDR2.dll and Dinput8.dll in the game install folder (where RDR2.exe is located).

Download Lennysmodloader for RDR2 extract the .zip go into the modloader folder and copy the contents in the game install folder (where RDR2.exe is located).

Place the lml folder from my mod in the game install folder (where RDR2.exe is located).
