Increased ECO Overhaul for Sims 4
Increased ECO Overhaul for Sims 4

Ever felt that Solar Panels, WindMills, and Dew Collectors just don’t produce as much as you want them to? Want a big house to be off the grid without smothering it in utility-producing garbage?

Then look no further! Here at Stellar’s Mod Mill, the newest product has come flying off the shelf ready to increase your production efforts by over 100X! This increased efficiency would obviously outpace any storage capacity’s ability to contain its efforts, so the Stellar team has lovingly applied an increase making the new total storage of water and power 100,000 Each! The pesky days of hoping your utility’s auto-sell function works can now remain a distant memory as the storage should be well enough to store up to 50,000 Simoleans each.

Power, water storage 300->100,000 but it isn’t 1-1 power=simoleans, I noticed it’s roughly 2 power for 1 simolean. Solar panels and wind turbines produce 100x faster. I.e. 0.00375->0.375. I just removed the zeros.

My method is tested once for 5 minutes so you can rest assured the limited tweaking necessary to complete this mod will very likely remain stable for a while. There is obviously going to be Gameplay affected by my change but it should be able to let you forget to sell your utilities while having only a few windmills and solar panels for all the extra customization you want to do to your lot while remaining green and helping cover property taxes.

Suggestions and changes are always welcome. This is my first mod but one I couldn’t find elsewhere that fit my goals for the mod. Thank you to LittleMsSam’s for the reference guide as your mod helped me locate the files necessary but all changes were done and chosen by me. Maybe I’ll turn this into an overhaul of the eco systems but that’ll be a separate mod.
