I made this mod because the requirements for having a Science Baby were so disappointing. It only costs §1200 to have one, basically §200 more than adoption, all your sims friends can be asked to have a science baby no matter the sentiments or personality, and sims take just 10-15 minutes to generate a new life at the mighty advanced hyper tech hospital. So, what I did is:

• Increased the prices for having Science Babies from the ridiculous §1200 to §5000 (Science Tech is pricey!).
• Now you can only generate Science Babies with a relationship of 60+ (good friends, best friends).
• Sims with the Hates Children trait and dislikes Family-Motivated sims (from Growing Together) will react negatively to the interaction and will not go to the hospital.
• The duration for when sims go to the hospital to generate new life has been increased from 10-15 minutes (WTF??) to 4+ hours, so it feels a little bit more immersive.
• Sims with negative sentiments will react negatively and will not go to the hospital (you will have to wait for the sentiment to disappear). This is to prevent things like the second screenshot, where in the vanilla game, sims don’t mind having a baby with someone that creeps them out or that has been rejected!
