Background:

After Jimmy Pegorino’s long life in Liberty City, his Pegorino family is set to move onto bigger and better operations. Setting their sights on Los Santos, they have begun to make a mark on the city’s way of life. Money laundering, Killing, Smuggling, and arms dealing are only a few crimes that this group is capable of. Only they will deny ever having been involved in any such crimes. They are not to be messed with however, and their new female members are but the same. Don’t ever try and hit on them or you will be sleeping with the fishes faster than you can say “Thats Amore”. However, the Pegarinos have been having troubles from what an inside source has been saying recently. “Rats” have been a huge problem with their organization. Many members are being a little to open about what goes on within the group. Those people, however, have went missing before any real evidence can be pinned to the Pegarino family or questions can be answered. This has put the family in high tensions lately with the authorities. Will the law finally catch up with this ruthless crime family or will the police be too accepting of bribes to pay any mind? Only time will tell…

I am so excited to finally announce this release of one of my most favorite gangs from GTA IV! That being the Italian Mafia! This mod includes a total of 16 models! All with original/custom attire and style from GTA IV. I have also included a total of 13 full voice archives that give the Italians all their possible lines from GTA IV! Scenario points for both night and day spawning have been added, all with different time attributes so it keeps the mafia feeling alive!! Pay a visit to the Marlowe Valley vineyard and you will be met with mafia who look from the 1950s. They believe in a more proper way of life and tend to not like people judging their style. You can also visit the Hawick & Alta hotel rooftop for a fun party venue taking place around 12 P.M. Just be careful not to hit on any girls that may be involved with the mafia, they will hate you for that! You can also see the main mansion in Richman Glen that overlooks the beautiful city of Los Santos. This is their main operations, and they pay good money for such an amazing view!

These models also are given facial animations that work pretty well being a model from GTA IV in my opinion. I am getting better at making facial animations and thus the g_m_y_italian_12 model is a good example of my most recent changes. I set the values for facial animations to 300 compared to 200 for all the others. This mafia has been a good testing ground for me, and it’s a good example of what’s to come in the future!

VERY IMPORTANT NOTICE (PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION):
This mod edits meta files such as pedpersonality, popgroups, loadouts, ambientpedmodelsets, relationship.dat, and the big file peds.ymt

PLEASE HAVE COMMON KNOWLEDGE of editing meta files and installing them before downloading this mod. Otherwise, you will experience CRASHES if you aren’t careful.

Have a gameconfig that is up to date as this mod will most likely need it. As always you can visit our discord if you have concerns about how to edit your gameconfig to make this gang work.

Other Mod Concerns:

Check if your mods conflict with mine and edit where you need to as I made it easy to follow in the manual install and discord is always available if you have questions!

Known Issues:

Sometimes the ped model’s props have an issue, just the glasses. They have issues with explosion effects whiting out the prop model with a white boxlike square on the character’s face. I think it may just be my graphics mod as I haven’t updated it in forever but let me know if you all run into any issues.

Models blood mapping isn’t perfect and can be janky, but it’s the best I can do for now unless I get further assistance on the issue. Any feedback is welcome!

Sometimes model’s clothing vertices can be weird. Such as certain parts protruding from the body during certain animations. I am still learning ways to perfect it in 3ds Max, but it isn’t too noticeable.

The shooting styles have a bit of a glitch that happens during movement. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it does occur as I’m sure you will come to notice. I have not found a fix yet, but I’m planning to look more into it soon for future updates.

Addon Mod Helpers:
Packfile limit adjuster is used for addonpeds, if your experiencing crashes then please install this and heapadjuster.

Feel free to use the assets from this mod to give clothes to mp characters or story peds if you like! Any model related thing I upload on this site you can use for your own creations. Just be sure to credit me when making your own stuff, because it was difficult to convert these models into GTA 5. A lot of trial & error, and time was put into these conversions.

A special thanks to a discord user going by the name of “Bro” or discord name Desse who helped me fix certain model issues that had reflection/spec issues. Without his help, these models would mostly have black lines across most parts of the body and the reflection would break when looking in a mirror in game. Thank you for all your help when I asked for assistance. With your help, moving forward the model conversions I make will be way better! Thank you!!!
