Where is the ets2 mod folder?

For Windows it's in \Users\[username]\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2.

For MAC it's in User\[username]\Library\Application Support\Euro Truck Simulator 2.

If you don't see mod folder here, create folder called "mod" (without " ").

How do I know what version of ets2 I have?

You should see the version number on the top left side of the screen. Alternatively, you can look at game.log.txt file in My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2 directory.

Can you play ets2 online with mods?

Multiplayer mod support was added with a 1.42 update. However, 3rd party mods are not allowed in TruckersMP.
