I know what you all may be thinking, “why?”, “what was the motivation for porting these characters?”, “Fortnite sucks, why are you rigging models for it?”, “Are you a furry?”. Well to those questions I have no real answer really lol.

I actually don’t play Fortnite currently and I don’t necessarily hate the game, I just don’t like how its been overhyped and all the promos/memes made about it for a while there. I used to play the game back when it first came out and there were a lot of well made memories I had spent with my brothers and friends!

I saw these characters being added to Fortnite back when I was still somewhat watching playthroughs for the game. I actually played as Dire Wolf after getting the tier when it came out. I always thought he looked really cool and intimidating while I destroyed the other players haha! Am I a furry? You may ask, no I am not one, but I do respect the community/fandom, as its not my place in life to judge anyone and never have thought to do so.

These characters have been added to GTA V by me since there were no real good models of them currently, and I have the ability to rig models now, so it seemed only right I did. As these models were characters from my past and peak my interest similar to that of GTA IV models, models from games like Dead Island, Far Cry, shows like Beastars, TWD The Walking Dead, and many other things that I love. Plus my spirit animal is a wolf, so I just love anything wolf related!

Installation Instructions:
Addon Ped Script Option:
Requirements:
Install “addonpeds”

Installation:
add the 8 files for both the “ig_wendell” & “ig_direwolf” to the addon peds pack.

follow this route: Grand Theft Auto V / mods / update / x64 / dlcpacks / addonpeds / dlc.rpf / peds.rpf /

or you can also install it as a replace by renaming the ped to what you want!
Ex: changing the name “ig_wendell” to “ig_barry” and replacing that model.

DLC Pack Option:

Drag and drop the dlc pack named “fortnite_characters” to this location within openiv:

mods – update – x64 – dlcpacks

Then add this line: dlcpacks:/fortnite_characters/ to you dlclist.xml located here:

mods – update – update.rpf – common – data

Known Issues:
