The Ibishu 300XX was created with one goal in mind — to push the BX chassis to the limit. This is exactly what the wonderful people from IPD (Ibishu Performance Development) have done. It is believed that the CEO of Ibishu wrote IPD a blank check with a footnote that simply said “気が狂う” (Go crazy!). What was developed as a result is considered by many to be just that.
Power comes from the 2.0-liter I4 engine, but it is equipped with an aftermarket turbo system providing 16 psi pressure to the upgraded internal components. The suspension underneath has also been heavily modified and reconfigured for more sporty and racing driving, along with a high-friction differential and upgraded brakes. It also has an aftermarket body to increase the airflow inside and around the car. You will see the Okudai PR01 with Grip-All AD82T High-Performance Sport tires on all four corners.
300XX is considered the Holy Grail factory of BX, and it rightfully deserves this title. But good luck finding one, as only 30 copies were produced for the Japanese market only.
