Cats and dogs in TS4 appear to be fine most of the time, but behind the scenes, they actually have a variety of different moods that all happen to be colored white, just like the fine emotion. With this, your pets can be in need of something and you won’t even know, and while this is realistic, it can be annoying having to constantly check for the “What’s Wrong?” interaction and use it to find out what they need.

This mod assigns different colors to them, so you can easily tell what your pets need at any time. This will make pet care a lot easier since it saves you time not having to use the “What’s Wrong?” interaction.

This mod isn’t perfect, however; it is due to EA tuning – low fun doesn’t give dogs moodlets and low affection doesn’t give cats moodlets, so you still won’t know when those needs are low. I may revisit eventually to try and add the moodlets.

How to install: extract the .package file into your Mods folder.
