Are you tired of complete strangers barging into your conversations? Annoyed by nobody asking you if they should hang out with someone you don’t even know? Baffled by new acquaintances asking if they can be your best friend? I recommend getting the Less Intrusive Sims mod.

Previously known as Less Intrusive Conversations, the Less Intrusive Sims mod is a refresh of that previous mod with some additions. If you have it installed, you are required to remove the LessIntrusiveConversations mod before installing this one.

Less Intrusive Sims is a script that modifies Sims social behavior.

• Strangers will no longer join ongoing conversations without being invited. Now you can talk with your date in peace without someone you don’t even know interrupting you. Sims you haven’t met will still try to talk to you without interrupting ongoing conversations. And you can count on your friends joining in so social groups can still form.
• Sims you don’t know very well will no longer ask if they should hang out with someone or go on a date with someone. Instead of being confused about who is asking about who, you will have a better idea of what’s going on.
• Newly met Sims will no longer show up asking if they can be your best friend or boyfriend/girlfriend, instead, you need to get to know them a little better before they try.

This mod does not prevent social groups from being formed, it does not prevent strangers from initiating conversations, it does not prevent Sims from asking for advice, and it does not prevent Sims from asking to advance their relationship with you. It simply makes things happen a little less.

The Less Intrusive Sims Mod is a TS4SCRIPT file. You are required to place it directly in the Mods folder or one folder deep, otherwise, it will not function!

It’s possible this mod can become broken from game patches. If Sims in your game fail to begin conversations autonomously, remove it.
