Description

“Daycare providers care for children in their own homes or daycare facilities while their parents are at work or otherwise engaged during the day. They take care of the child’s every need, including playing games with them, feeding them, and providing basic education as requested by parents. Here at Tumbling Tots Co. we train you on how to run your own at home daycare or work in our learning facility.”

How does it work?
With the daycare teacher career, you can choose to go to the rabbit-hole job or to work from home. I would recommend to work from home because that is when the fun starts. Once you choose to work from home your assignment is to run your daycare. To do this you need to start the “Run Daycare” social event. This event will automatically spawn 2-5 toddlers from your save (Make sure you save has toddlers, if it doesn’t please add households with toddlers), and you will have certain goals to complete in 8 hours, for example, taking attendance, eating lunch, having story time, nap time, and playing games. You are able to also invite 5 toddlers from your save yourself but be warned that the mod will still auto-invite 2-5 toddlers, so you can end up having to watch a grand total of 10 toddlers. There’s only 1 level in this career, but you are still able to go to the rabbit-hole and earn a raise.

How do I get paid?
Your Sims Pay Depends On The Medal They Earned In The Event:

Bronze -> $200 – $350
Silver -> $350 – $450
Gold -> $500 – $1000

Your sim also earns reward items for completing the daycare event.

What about the rabbit-hole career?

Daycare Teacher:

“Dirty diapers, paint on the walls, and dirty dishes everywhere. Not everyone is built to run a daycare, but you’re up for the challenge! You have the finesse it takes to wrangle a group of kids!”
Days: Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri — Hours: 7:00 – 16:00 (9 hours) — Salary: ﹩100

There is only 1 level to the career since the majority of your money will be coming from the “Run Daycare” social event. If you choose to go to the rabbit-hole job your sim will be able to work towards raises, but not new levels.
