Description
Stony Brook University Hospital Complex is made up of four hospitals: University Hospital, Children’s Hospital, Southampton Hospital and Eastern Long Island Hospital. Opened in 1980, it serves also as a research and academic medical center.
A stone’s throw north of KISP, the twin 334-foot towers are well-known reporting points for Long Island pilots.
If you’re a helicopter pilot, test your skills by landing on the elevated heliport.
This frame-rate-friendly add-on is yet another in my growing list of Long Island scenery.
