Description
4X-BDN is a BK-117A4 (a predecessor of the H145) operated by Lahak Aviation for emergency medical evacuation, carrying Megan David Adom paramedics.
Not a completely accurate representation, given the slightly different shape and dimentions.
Lahak Aviation was formed in 2005 to take over medevac roles from the IAF’s rescue unit.
It operates some 13 helicopters, including 3 BK-117s, in medevac, offshore transport and VIP transport out of its main base in Haifa and Puria hospital near the sea of Galilee.
